LAREDO

Since the late 1980s, the LAREDO (LAcrosse REferee DevelOpment) program has been providing training for lacrosse officials around the country. LAREDO utilizes regional lacrosse tournaments and summer lacrosse camps as sites for intense and concentrated lacrosse officiating development.

These are the 2011-2012 classifications for Boys Lacrosse in Georgia for 5A and 4-1A.

GHSA Procedure for Suspended Games

When game officials suspend a game due to weather issues or darkness, the following procedures are in place:

  • Lacrosse contests involving teams of the same classification, all contests will be played to completion either that day or at a later date.
  • Contests involving teams of different classifications will observe a two hour maximum delay.
